Cardstore has recently added a new feature to its card personalization called "Add my signature." This feature allows you to upload your real -life signing the card. Naturally we thought this was an interesting feature, so we decided to test it. We chose a card, and began to personalization.
After we placed in our map, we are not too happy. Even after we have focused signing it was still evident that he was a downloaded item and not written in the card organically. We clicked on "Add to order" with hesitation because this feature does not seem too promising. About three days after we ordered the card we received in the mail and we were pleasantly surprised by the results.
Once you select your map and start customizing, you can add your signature to the card. The "Type your signature" allows you to type your name in the map using the font of your choice. We decided to choose "Scan your signature" because the other option does not seem too exciting since you can type your signature with almost every card services, we examine.
Our signature in the gray box.
To begin this process, you must print a PDF form, and sign inside the gray box. The document includes step by step instructions that tell you everything you need to know. Once you have signed in the gray area, you more options in terms of how to get your signature on the card itself. You can scan the same signature or mail the form to Cardstore and let them scan the form for you. We opted for sweeping shape because we had a handheld scanner. We scanned it, saved as a JPEG then uploaded to our map.

Our signature on the actual card.
The menu looked good, and - fortunately - nothing like it did on the screen. There is some pixelation if you really look at the signature, but it is not enough to really notice. The site indicates that the signature appears in black on the map, but the map itself, it has a blue tint, which was the color of the pen that we signed, we used to sign the paper. Since all maps Cardstore have a white interior, each card "signed" the house should look like our map.
Overall, Cardstore of "Add my signature" is a solid addition. It offers the opportunity for people to sign their card online and sent directly - by Cardstore - to the recipient. Although this is not a feature that we are likely to use often because we love our own sign cards, there is always a good option to have.
