Federal authorities seized 14 franchised 7-Elevens in Long Island and Virginia and arrested nine owners and managers as part of an identity theft. The nine are responsible for millions of dollars by exploiting more than 50 illegal immigrants. The owners and managers paid those employees using social security numbers stolen from 20 victims, including eight children and three dead.
