The new wipe feature allows the owner to remotely access the cloud files stored on the computer. From a remote computer, you can delete your files and make sure they are inaccessible to the computer or a specific device without your password or permission specified. For those who have already SugarSync, using the remote wipe is very easy. First, go to the Tools menu in SugarSync. Then select "Float SugarSync device." A page will open that lets you manage your remote wipe. Once on this page, find the device that you want to delete. To start the wiping process, click the button next to the device marked "Wipe & Delete." Once the wipe has been activated, it will take some time until all files are completely erased from this computer. Once it is done, the computer will go down in the menu wipes the finished device. Once completed, SugarSync will connect to the specified computer, and need your password to access files in the future. Your files will always be available in the cloud SugarSync by logging in with your user name and specific password.
